ET's 'The Back-up Plan' week continues! In the new comedy, in theaters April 23, Jennifer Lopez plays a woman who decides to go it alone as a mother. She is on her own with her pregnancy, but she's not completely alone!
Her best friend in the movie, Mona, is played by Michaela Watkins, who is best known for her work on "Saturday Night Live" and "The New Adventures of Old Christine."
"Basically, I am just hateful because I say and do everything people wish they could," Michaela says of her character.
"What always makes comedy funny is that there's some reality to it, you know, that's what makes people laugh," says Jennifer. "They're like, 'Oh my god, that's so true, that could've happened, that just happened, I can't believe that just happened,' you know?'"
In 'The Back-up Plan' from CBS Films, Jennifer Lopez plays a woman who is unlucky in love and decides to have a baby by herself. Once pregnant, she meets the man of her dreams, Alex O'Loughlin, and the two ride the rollercoaster of pregnancy while falling in love.
